Founded in 2014 in Mexico City by Salvador Arroyo, Alejandro Solís, and Rosa Agraz, Arroyo Solís Agraz is a compact yet diverse architecture firm unified by a shared vision and background. Salvador and Rosa both graduated from the Universidad Iberoamericana, and Salvador collaborated with Alejandro at TEN Arquitectos, where Salvador served as a partner and Alejandro as an associate architect. In 2020, the firm expanded its presence to Southern California, with Rosa Agraz spearheading projects in the cross-border region and other U.S. cities. This collective expertise and cohesive approach are evident in a diverse and intricate portfolio that spans various architectural typologies and scales.

SALVADOR ARROYO

Salvador Arroyo (b. 1964) graduated with honors in Architecture from Universidad Iberoamericana (1990). In 2014, he founded Arroyo Solís Agraz, leading the design of all projects with a pragmatic and analytical approach to real estate and urban development. From 2006 to 2013, he was partner and director at TEN Arquitectos, overseeing projects like Centro de Atención Ciudadana in Acapulco, LANGEBIO, and Museo Amparo. A dedicated academic, he has taught at Universidad Iberoamericana, UNAM, and was Architecture Program Coordinator (1999-2001) at Iberoamericana.

ALEJANDRO SOLIS

Born in Mexico City (1976), Alejandro Solís studied Architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana and Universidad Motolinía (1998-2004), completing the Architectural Association Summer School in London (2002). His career has been closely linked to Salvador Arroyo, first at F304 and TEN Arquitectos, and later as co-founder of Arroyo Solís Agraz in 2014. From 2006 to 2010, he was Associate Architect at TEN Arquitectos, leading projects such as the Centro de Atención Ciudadana, Museo Amparo, and MUSEVI, as well as the BBVA Bancomer Tower competition. He has lectured at Tec de Monterrey, UNAM, IPN, and Escuela Libre de Arquitectura.

ROSA AGRAZ

Born in Mexico City (1980), Rosa Agraz studied Architecture at Universidad Iberoamericana (1999-2004) and earned a Master’s in Creative Management and Urban Transformation from Universidad Politécnica de Cataluña (2007-2009). In 2014, she co-founded Arroyo Solís Agraz, leading interior design and ephemeral architecture projects while expanding the firm’s presence in the United States.

 She has been a jury member for the 2024 San Diego Architectural Foundation Awards and Premios Firenze-Entremuros, and was awarded the 2024 Galardón Arquitectas for professional excellence. A dedicated academic, she has lectured at UNAM, UANL, Universidad Anáhuac, and San Diego Design Week.

PROJECT ARCHITECT

RICARDO CASTILLA

Born in Mexico City (1986), Ricardo Castilla studied Architecture at the IPN’s Escuela Superior de Ingeniería y Arquitectura, earning his license in 2014.

A Project Architect at Arroyo Solís Agraz since 2016, he has led projects from concept to execution, including Charcas and Santa Bárbara Community Centers. His expertise spans residential, commercial, and institutional design.

Previously, he was an architect at TEN Arquitectos (2012-2016), contributing to Blum Santa Fe, Paseo del Prado, Mercado Corona, and Plaza Iztapalapa.
